EMEA conference event awards ceremony

The Brief

One of our regular clients IT Pure Storage, a global data flash storage company, asked us to arrange their mid-year EMEA kick-off for their sales team in London.

We were requested to find a hotel in an easily accessible location to accommodate 280 delegates with accommodation for all guests with a large conference room for the plenary plus breakout rooms for smaller meetings finishing with a carnival themed evening with activities and entertainment, serving food from around the world.

We would also need to design a registration and information website and book flights for the delegates as required.

Results

The result was a hugely successful mid-year conference to motivate the sales team. The chose the Hilton Metropole Hotel, which worked well with the conference facilities and bedrooms. We organised for a purpose built AV set that worked well in the room for both the daytime conference and evening awards party. The evening had a carnival theme which all the guests thoroughly enjoyed with many positive comments.

The table centres were hot air balloons with other fun theming around the room including popcorn and clown balloons, flags from around the world to represent the countries the guests were attending from and fun activities including Scalextric, test your strength, coconut shy, cork shoot, racing car simulators, photo booth, magician, charity tombola and branded candyfloss.
